TOMATO CHUTNEY
INGREDIENTS
- Tomatoes - 2 (medium)
- Onion - 1 (medium)
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Dry red chillies - 3
- Asafoetida - a pinch
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
- Gingelly oil - 1/2 tbsp
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard.
- Add urad dal, asafoetida, then dried red chillies and garlic.
- Add chopped onions and saute.
- Add chopped tomatoes.
- Cool them and grind.
