Erode Pallipalayam Chicken Fry
Pallipalayam is a Municipality in Namakkal district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.The Chicken Variety named after the town,"Pallipalayam Chicken" is famous all over the country. 

Ingredients
  • Chicken (Boneless) - 250 g
  • Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Shallots (small onions) - 100 g
  • Garlic - 15 fat cloves
  • Dried Red Chillies - 8
  • Turmeric a pinch
  • Curry leaves and coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Salt as needed 
Method
  1. Grind shallots and garlic together in a blender into a fine paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, crackle mustard, add dried red chillies.
  3. Now, add grounded garlic shallots paste.
  4. Add turmeric and salt.
  5. Saute for a minute.
  6. Add boneless chicken pieces and mix well.
  7. Close lid and cook them in low flame for 40 mins.
  8. Switch off the flame, when chicken is totally dry.
  9. Garnish and serve.
