Simple Pepper Chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken - 250 g
- Pepper - 1 1/4 tsp (crushed whole black peppercorns)
- Onion - 1 (sliced)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Green chillies - 2
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Fennel powder - 1 tsp
- Chicken/meat masala - 1 tsp
- Soy sauce - 1 1/4 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Water as needed
- Pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Marinate chicken pieces with pepper powder, salt and lemon juice.
- Crush whole black pepper corns and keep aside (1 1/4 tsp).
- Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions and green chillies, saute them.
- Add ginger garlic paste, cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add crushed pepper, turmeric, garam masala, fennel powder and chicken/meat masala, cook for 2 -3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce.
- Add water, salt and marinated chicken.
- Boil, garnish and serve.
