CORN CHEESE BALLS
INGREDIENTS
- Sweet Corn - 1 cup
- Grated Cheese - 1/3 cup
- Onion - 2
- Potato - 2 medium sized
- Maida - 3 tbsp
- Cornflour - 1 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Mixed Herbs - 1/2 tsp
- Bread Crumbs - as needed
- Salt - to taste
METHOD
- Pressure cook potatoes, Peel off the skin, and mash it well.
- Pressure cook sweet corn, drain water completely and mash it.
- Add mashed potato, chopped onions, grated cheese, maida 2 tbsp , cornflour, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder,Mixed herbs and required salt.
- Form a thick dough, shape them into balls and arrange them in a plate.
- Take 1 tbsp maida in a bowl , add little water and make a thick paste. Dip each ball in the maida mixture coat it well. Then dip it in breadcrumb mixture, roll over.
- Heat oil, deep fry the balls in oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot with ketchup.
