EGG RICE

INGREDIENTS
  • Eggs- 2
  • Big onion -1
  • Green Chillies -1
  • Tomatoes -2 
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Cinnamon - 1
  • Cardamom - 1
  • Star Anise - 1
  • Caraway seeds - 10
  • Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder a pinch
  • Oil as needed
  • Salt as needed
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves 
  • White Basmati Rice - 1 cup
METHOD
  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker fry add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, caraway seeds.
  2. Then, add onion and fry till it changes transparent.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste,green chillies, salt and tomato and saute well.
  4. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala.
  5. Now, add 2 eggs and saute for 2 mins.

  6. Add 1 cup of washed white basmati rice and 2 cups of water.   
                              

    7.Cover lid and cook till rice gets cooked
    8.Garnish with coriander leaves.
 

9. Serve with raita.
