Tomato Sauce Ravioli 

Ravioli are a type of dumpling composed of a filling sealed between two layers of thin pasta dough. Usually served either in broth or with a pasta sauce, they originated as a traditional food in Italian cuisine. Ravioli are typically square, though other forms are also used, including circular or semi-circular. Other related filled pastas include the ring-shaped tortellini and the larger tortellini.
Ingredients
  • Ravioli - 250 g
  • Tomato - 3 (large)
  • Capsicum - 1 
  • Garlic - 4 fat cloves
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Parsley for garnishing
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Method
  1. Blanch tomato, make puree and keep aside.
  2. Cook ravioli in enough of water, drain and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in pan, add chopped garlic, oregano, capsicum and saute.
  4. Add salt.

  5. Add tomato puree, red chilli powder and sugar.
  6. Boil for 2 mins.
  7. Add cooked ravioli.
  8. Mix well and cook with sauce.
  9. Garnish and serve.
