Onion Gose

Ingredients
  • Onion - 4
  • Tomato - 3
  • Cumin - 1 tsp
  • Chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • poppy seed - 2 tsp
  • Cashew - 5
  • Coriander leaves - few
  • Salt - as required
  • Garlic - 8 cloves
  • Fennel seed - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves- few
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
Method
  1. Grind poppy seeds, coconut and cashews with water, filter them and extract milk out of them, keep aside.
  2. Heat pan, add oil, add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and when it splutters, add chopped garlic, saute them.
  3. Add chopped onions.

  4. Add salt.
  5. Add chilli powder by mixing it with water.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes.
  7. Add extracted coconut milk.
  8. Leave them to boil in medium low flame.
  9. Transfer to a bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
