Kashmiri Chicken Curry (Bachelor's)

Ingredients
  • Onion - 2 (large)
  • Tomato - 1 (Medium)
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Chicken - 200 g
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric a pinch
  • Kashmiri masala - 2 tbsp
  • Chicken masala - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 4 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan, saute chopped onions along with green chillies.
  2. Once onion becomes translucent, add chopped tomatoes.
  3. Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kashmiri masala and chicken masala.
  4. Add salt.

  5. Cover and cook till tomato gets cooked and becomes mushy.
  6. Now, add washed and cleaned chicken pieces.

  7. Mix chicken well with masala.
  8. Add little water and cook till chicken gets cooked in medium-low flame (15-20 mins).
  9. Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
