Kashmiri Chicken Curry (Bachelor's)
Ingredients
- Onion - 2 (large)
- Tomato - 1 (Medium)
- Green chillies - 2
- Chicken - 200 g
- Salt as needed
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric a pinch
- Kashmiri masala - 2 tbsp
- Chicken masala - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Heat oil in a pan, saute chopped onions along with green chillies.
- Once onion becomes translucent, add chopped tomatoes.
- Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kashmiri masala and chicken masala.
- Add salt.
- Cover and cook till tomato gets cooked and becomes mushy.
- Now, add washed and cleaned chicken pieces.
- Mix chicken well with masala.
- Add little water and cook till chicken gets cooked in medium-low flame (15-20 mins).
- Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
