Kozha Urandai (veg)
Ingredients
- Soaked soya balls - 1 cup
- Channa dal (soaked for 1 hour) - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies - 2
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Onion (large) - 1
- Salt as needed
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Oil for deep frying
- Soak channa dal for one hour.
- Soak soya balls in hot water.
- Squeeze and drain all the water from soya balls and grind.
- Keep them aside.
- Grind channa dal separately draining water along with green chillies,ginger, garlic, fennel seeds, garam masala and salt.
- Add blended soya balls into the above grinded mixture and make a dough adding chopped onions and coriander leaves.
- Make balls out of it.
- Deep fry them till they becomes brown.
- Serve.
