Kozha Urandai (veg)

Ingredients
  • Soaked soya balls - 1 cup
  • Channa dal (soaked for 1 hour) - 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garlic - 6 cloves
  • Onion (large) - 1 
  • Salt as needed
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Oil for deep frying
Method
  1. Soak channa dal for one hour.
  2. Soak soya balls in hot water.
  3. Squeeze and drain all the water from soya balls and grind.
  4. Keep them aside.
  5. Grind channa dal separately draining water along with green chillies,ginger, garlic, fennel seeds, garam masala and salt.
  6. Add blended soya balls into the above grinded mixture and make a dough adding chopped onions and coriander leaves.
  7. Make balls out of it.
  8. Deep fry them till they becomes brown.
  9. Serve.
