Health Benefits of Raw Bananas
Green bananas are "starchier", but the type of starch they contain is resistant starch. Resistant starch is a type of starch that isn't digested in the same way as most starches. Instead of being broken down, they pass through the intestines unchanged – which gives them the characteristics of an insoluble fiber.
Ingredients
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Raw banana - 1
- Salt - as required
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Method
- Grind garlic cloves, fennel seeds and cumin seeds together adding little amount of water, make a paste and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add grounded garlic paste.
- Add cubed raw banana pieces, add salt, add chilli powder and sprinkle some water on it.
- Cook till raw banana pieces gets cooked.
- Garnish with curry leaves and serve.
