Rava Paniyaram 

 Paniyaram is an Indian dish made by steaming batter using a mould. The dish can be made sweet or spicy.
Ingredients

  • White rava/ semolina - 1 cup
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Maida - 1/4 cup
  • Rice flour - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Baking soda - a pinch
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup ( little less )
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Water as needed

Method

  1. Soak rava in water for half an hour.
  2. Drain water and add ingredients mentioned one by one (coconut, maida, rice flour, salt, baking soda, sugar and cardamom powder).
  3. Mix all together and make batter adding water as needed(must be in idly batter consistency).
  4. cook in paniyaram pan, flipping both sides and serve hot.
  5. If not make paniyaram shape, deep fry in hot oil.

  6. Serve hot.
