MUNG DAL SUNDAL
INGREDIENTS
- Mung Dal - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Red chillies - 2
- Asafoetida - a pinch
- Turmeric - a pinch
- Curry leaves - 1 pinnate
- Grated coconut - 3 tbsp
- Salt as needed
- Dry roast mung dal in a pan till the flavor of dal releases.
- Cook dal with 1 1/2 cup of water.
- Drain and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, crackle mustard, add red chillies, asafoetida and curry leaves.
- Add cooked dal.
- Add grated coconut.
- Serve.
