FRIED POTATO GRAVY

INGREDIENTS
  • Potatoes - 5 (medium)
  • Oil - 1 tbsp + for deep frying
  • Onion - 1 (medium)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  • Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Cornflour - 1 tsp
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Water - 1/2 cup
METHOD
  1. Chop potatoes length-wise, heat oil in a pan and deep fry the potatoes till golden brown.
  2. Drain off and keep aside.
  3. Now heat oil a pan, add chopped onions, saute till transparent.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, saute again.
  5. Add salt and chilli powder.
  6. Now add fried potatoes.
  7. Add ketchup.
  8. Add soy sauce.
  9. Then add cornflour mixing with milk ( to thicken gravy).
  10. Now, add water, boil.
  11. When gravy thickens garnish with coriander leaves, switch off the flame and serve hot with chapatti or naan.
