Spinach Paste / Keerai Kadayal
Ingredients
- Sesame oil - 1 tsp
- Green chilies - 2
- Garlic cloves - 10
- Onions - 3 (medium)
- Spinach - 250 g
- Salt as needed
Method
- Clean spinach, soak in hot water for 15 minutes and wash twice.
- Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions, garlic, green chilies and salt.
- Saute them well.
- Now, add spinach, saute for few mins.
- Cool the mixture and grind them in blender.
- Serve with hot rice with 1 tsp of ghee.
