Quick Onion Chilli Chutney
(Using Pressure Cooker)
Ingredients
- Sesame oil - 3 tbsp
- Onions - 2 (medium)
- Tomatoes - 2 (medium)
- Garlic cloves - 6
- Dried red chillies - 6-7
- Tamarind - 1 inch
- Jaggery - 1 tsp
- Salt as needed
- In a 3 litre pressure cooker, add in oil, add roughly chopped onions, tomatoes and garlic.
- Add in dry red chillies, tamarind and jaggery.
- Cover pressure cooker, add weight.
- Cook for 5 minutes in induction stove if stove top cook in medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Leave 3 whistles.
- Open lid, cool them and grind adding required amount of salt without adding water.
- Serve with idly ot dosa.
