Rava Kesari 

Ingredients
  • Rava (semolina) - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  • Water- 3 cup
  • Camphor - a pinch
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Food colour - a pinch
  • Cashews - 6
  • Raisins - 5
  • Ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
Method
  1. Add oil in a pan, add semolina and fry them well.
  2. Boil water in a separate bowl, add food color, salt.
  3. Simmer semolina pan, add boiled water slowly by mixing them without any lumps.
  4. Once semolina is cooked, add half quantity of sugar, mix them and then add remaining sugar, cook in low flame till it gets dissolved.

  5. Add ghee.
  6. In a separate pan, melt ghee, add cashews and raisins, fry them.
  7. Add to semolina, garnish and serve.
