Rava Kesari
Ingredients
- Rava (semolina) - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
- Water- 3 cup
- Camphor - a pinch
- Salt - a pinch
- Food colour - a pinch
- Cashews - 6
- Raisins - 5
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Add oil in a pan, add semolina and fry them well.
- Boil water in a separate bowl, add food color, salt.
- Simmer semolina pan, add boiled water slowly by mixing them without any lumps.
- Once semolina is cooked, add half quantity of sugar, mix them and then add remaining sugar, cook in low flame till it gets dissolved.
- Add ghee.
- In a separate pan, melt ghee, add cashews and raisins, fry them.
- Add to semolina, garnish and serve.
