Channa Dal Roll

Ingredients
  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Bengal gram / Channa dal - 1 cup
  • Spinach  - 1/4 cup
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Lime juice - 1 tsp
  • Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Garlic - 1 tsp
  • Cabbage - 2 tbsp
  • Carrot - 2 tbsp
  • Onion - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp
Method
  1. Grate cabbage, carrot , chop garlic and slice onions, keep aside.
  2. Blanch and chop spinach, keep aside.
  3. Boil Channa dal and keep aside.
  4. In a bowl add wheat flour, salt and by adding required water make it like soft dough and rest it for few minutes by covering it with wet cloth.
  5. In another bowl add boiled channa dal, blanched and chopped spinach, pepper powder, salt, lime juice and mix well. 
  6. For dressing, in another bowl add yogurt, ginger, salt and mix.
  7. Divide dough, roll them.
  8. Heat tawa and cook wraps.
  9. Fill it with carrot, onion, garli and cabbage.
  10. Top with channa dal spinach mixture.
  11. Dress it with dressings made.
  12. Finally, add tomato ketchup of top.
  13. Roll and serve.
