Channa Dal Roll
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Bengal gram / Channa dal - 1 cup
- Spinach - 1/4 cup
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Lime juice - 1 tsp
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 1 tsp
- Cabbage - 2 tbsp
- Carrot - 2 tbsp
- Onion - 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp
- Grate cabbage, carrot , chop garlic and slice onions, keep aside.
- Blanch and chop spinach, keep aside.
- Boil Channa dal and keep aside.
- In a bowl add wheat flour, salt and by adding required water make it like soft dough and rest it for few minutes by covering it with wet cloth.
- In another bowl add boiled channa dal, blanched and chopped spinach, pepper powder, salt, lime juice and mix well.
- For dressing, in another bowl add yogurt, ginger, salt and mix.
- Divide dough, roll them.
- Heat tawa and cook wraps.
- Fill it with carrot, onion, garli and cabbage.
- Top with channa dal spinach mixture.
- Dress it with dressings made.
- Finally, add tomato ketchup of top.
- Roll and serve.
