HORSEGRAM CHUTNEY


INGREDIENTS
  • Horsegram (kollu) - 1/4 cup
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Tamarind - 1 tsp
  • Dried Red Chillies - 4
  • Salt - to taste
  • Mustard Seeds - 3/4 tsp
  • Hing - a pinch
  • Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
METHOD
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard.
  2. Once mustard pops add hing, urad dal, tamarind, dry red chillies and horse gram.
  3. Leave horse gram to pop.
  4. Now add grated coconut, salt and fry well.
  5. Grind fried ingredients( add water if needed).
  6. Serve with idly, dosa or rice
