HORSEGRAM CHUTNEY
INGREDIENTS
- Horsegram (kollu) - 1/4 cup
- Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Tamarind - 1 tsp
- Dried Red Chillies - 4
- Salt - to taste
- Mustard Seeds - 3/4 tsp
- Hing - a pinch
- Urad Dal - 1 tbsp
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard.
- Once mustard pops add hing, urad dal, tamarind, dry red chillies and horse gram.
- Leave horse gram to pop.
- Now add grated coconut, salt and fry well.
- Grind fried ingredients( add water if needed).
- Serve with idly, dosa or rice
