Chicken fried rice
Ingredients
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Ginger and garlic - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Capsicum - 3/4 cup
- Red chilly paste - 1/2 tsp
- Soya sauce - 1/2 tbsp
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Cooked rice - 2 cups (Basmati)
- Ajinomotto - a pinch
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp
- Cabbage - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 3
- Chicken - 1/2 cup (boneless)
- Spring onion - 1/2 bunch
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Take chicken, cut into small pieces and wash them.
- In a bowl add chicken, pepper, salt, cornflour and mix well, add half egg, mix again and keep aside.
- Now, cook rice (cook till its half done) and set aside.
- In a pan, heat oil, fry chicken. once its cooked transfer it to a plate.
- In the same pan, remove excess oil, saute ginger with 1 tsp of oil for a minute.
- Then, saute onions.
- Add egg and scramble them.
- Once egg is done, add pepper, salt, ajinomoto, vegetables (chopped) , vinegar, soy sauce, chicken, saute them.
- Finally add cooked rice mix well.
- Garnish and serve.
