Chicken fried rice

Ingredients
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger and garlic -  1 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum - 3/4 cup
  • Red chilly paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce - 1/2 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Cooked rice - 2 cups (Basmati)
  • Ajinomotto - a pinch
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Cabbage - 1/2 cup
  • Egg - 3
  • Chicken - 1/2 cup  (boneless)
  • Spring onion - 1/2 bunch
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Method
  1. Take chicken, cut into small pieces and wash them.
  2. In a bowl add chicken, pepper, salt, cornflour and mix well, add half egg, mix again and keep aside.
  3. Now, cook rice (cook till its half done) and set aside.
  4. In a pan, heat oil, fry chicken. once its cooked transfer it to a plate.

  5. In the same pan, remove excess oil, saute ginger with 1 tsp of oil for a minute.
  6. Then, saute onions.
  7. Add egg and scramble them.
  8. Once egg is done, add pepper, salt, ajinomoto, vegetables (chopped) , vinegar, soy sauce, chicken, saute them.


  9. Finally add cooked rice mix well.

  10. Garnish and serve.
