White Korma

Ingredients

  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Onion(large) - 1/2
  • Tomato(medium) - 1
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

For grinding:
  • Grated coconut - 3 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Cashews - 5
  • Green chillies - 2
Method

  1. Take ingredients under for grinding and grind into a fine paste by adding little amount of water, keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, saute sliced onions.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes, cook till it becomes mushy.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste,  then add grounded masala and stir.
  5. Add 1 cup of water.
  6. Leave it to boil for 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.


Note:
  • Add vegetables if needed.
